Review:

Paintbrush and paletteSpearmint – Remember when you were a kid eyeing those colorful gumballs in nostalgic 25-cent vending domes? For just one quarter you could have had one for your very own – a secret utopia of giraffe-size bubbles and sugar rushes across sun-streaked hazy afternoons.

And then one day somehow or other you got the quarter, and you found a machine. You turned that finely-engineered lever, heard that careful click, then a rolling, then a thunk..and it was yours! Your eyes big as peach pies, you aimed that candy covered comestible at your mouth and bit down. And just then, the record playing “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy” skidded to a jarring halt.

Well, this is where PEELU! gum comes in, with all of its teeth-healthy twigs and fibers. Although these are not gumballs, this is what gumballs were supposed to be. One can imagine Bob Ross declaring “happy little rocks” about this gum. I don’t know what kind of gum Bob chewed, but I suspect he might have liked this.

The flavor is very mellow* and hangs around the back like a wallflower at a twee-pop concert. Just listen to the music, it’s sweet…and sturdy. Peelu deserves a special merit badge for sturdiness.
